A Day In The Life

How Connected Car PC technology will make your life easier.
Picture Ride along with Anne Smith — a real estate agent, wife and mother of two — as she utilizes many features of Connected Car PC technology in a short but action-packed drive from her home to her parents’ house for dinner.  Before she gets there, she must pick up her kids at her sister’s house, her husband at the airport, and a pie from the bakery for the dinner.

5:01 p.m.  Never out of touch.  Once in her car, Anne verbally commands her Connected Car PC to check her e-mail, and read it to her.  The car PC informs her that her biggest client needs a contract immediately.  Anne accesses her virtual assistant from her car PC, retrieves and forwards critical information and has the papers faxed from her office.
5:10 p.m. Fun for the kids.  Security for the home.  Anne stops by her home for a quick change of clothes and then picks up her kids at her sister’s house.  They were watching a movie on Digital Versatile Disk (DVD), so Anne lets the kids bring the disk with them, insert it into the PC, and finish watching it on the back seat screen.  While they’re enjoying the movie on the full-color Liquid Crystal Display, Anne worries that she forgot to close the garage door.  She calls up her home security system, and verbally commands it to run a security check on the house.  Sure enough, the garage door is open.  Anne tells the car PC to close it and to re-activate her home alarm system.
